O2 Shop in Ormskirk

Anonymous
Not applicable

I went into the O2 Shop in Ormskirk yesterday to enquire about upgrading my phone, I was told I would be able to upgrade today (30/11/14) for free. I asked about their opening hours and was told they were having a Christmas party saturday Night, but, would be open today from 11.00 - 15.00

Imagine my surprise after making a special trip to Ormskirk and paying to park that at 11.30 the shop was not open.

My wife and I went to the cafe opposite and had a coffee until 12.15, O2 still was not open.

We had to leave then. I am truly surprised that this is the way to run a business, there were notices in the window, saying they were closing early on Saturday at 16.00, but, nothing about them not opening today.

Unfortunately I will not be able to go there this week as I work in Liverpool until 17.00.

I am really disappointed as I was looking forward to getting my new phone today and my wife was hoping to use my old one to replace hers which she dropped a couple of weeks ago.

A very disappointed customer

Can you get into one of the Liverpool stores during the week at all....?

Hi

Not a good experience.

Perhaps you could feed this back to @Toby who can pass this back.

I plan to try to get to the Aintree Shop, on my way home, but, am not happy about the fact I was told ormskirk would be open, yet no one managed to get there to open up. I must assume the staff party was really good.

Luckily most other business are more responsible than that

Yes, I agree, it's a poor set up if they get so bad they can't open the store 😞

I wonder if it was a franchised o2 shop ?

These seem to have their own business rules.
