O2 5g Roll Out confirmed.

Seems O2 shall start rolling out their Ericsson / Nokia based 5G service in October. The last UK provider to do so.

Will it effect anyone's choice of handset or when they upgrade?

EE's offering went their usual "premium" route with high prices and daft add ons.

Vodafone at least has went the unlimited data route. Albeit with ludicrous capped speeds on the lower tariffs.

Looking at O2's current sim deals, I can't see them getting it right.
