I’m on GiffGaff and they use O2 masts. I’ve been without 4G home data for nearly two week. This is beyond ridiculous. The network update is that they are talking to the landlord to be able to access the mast to fix it. Two weeks? Really! What a crap service!

Perhaps you need to rant on the giffgaff community

No one from O2 will be able to assist you when it comes to mast repairs

Thanks for your feedback. That was the first thing I did and they all went ‘That’s O2 that you should be speaking to’. Thanks anyways

2 weeks with a landlord? Nothing unusual there, they a probably wanting a bigger rental!

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

There are @Dave74 isolated examples of disputes between mobile network operators and landowners that have seen masts out of action for years. A two-week delay is nothing. It could be explained by the landowner being on holiday or suchlike. We do not know the facts so we cannot pardon O2 but, equally, we cannot castigate them.

Similarly, difficulties procuring particular parts needed for repairs can see masts out of action for extended periods. 👍
