Hi,

I am a Trustee at Saltash Foodbank (projects@saltash.foodbank.org.uk). Charity registration number: 1157577

02 is participating in the National Databank Project (https://www.o2.co.uk/national-databank).

I know the criteria that those in need will have to fulfil in order to receive this support.

To qualify for this support, you must:
Be 18 years or older.
Belong to a low-income household.
Meet at least one of the following conditions:
Have no or insufficient access to the internet at home.
Have no or insufficient access to the internet when away from home.
Be unable to afford your existing monthly contract or top-up.

However, I need to find out what information/documents people wanting this support, will have to bring with them when they visit the 02 store.

Can someone put me in touch with an 02 person who can provide this information please?

On the 02 web page (above) it says 'Need more support? Give us a call on 0344 809 0222 or 4445 from your O2 phone and quote ‘National Databank’ to the customer service team.'

I did this. They were unable to tell me anything at all and told me to come to these pages and ask!

So . . . I am asking!

Can anyone help, please?

Many Thanks,

Saltash Foodbank.

@SaltashFoodbank

Call your local store and ask?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

I'm not sure to be honest

Moxt customers got the email which is basically the information you already have

National Databank | Free Mobile Data, Minutes & Calls

Thanks to you

we’ve turned all our stores into Databanks

By being with O2, you’re helping us provide data to people in need this Christmas and beyond. Our stores are now able to act as Databanks all year round, meaning even more people can get access to free SIMs and data. Giving them the tools they need to support their lives.

Think of it like a food bank, but for mobile data, texts and minutes.

Best option would be to phone round the stores

@SaltashFoodbank

The Good things foundation is going to the best people to contact as they sort of manage the scheme https://www.goodthingsfoundation.org/?utm_source=VMO2&utm_medium=Campaign+Landing+Page&utm_campaign=...

It is normally from what other schemes do, in reciept of UC etc and proof of this... but the above should be able to help..
