O2 as the provider of a non-working phone offered the usual "bring it in / send it to us" service.. though did offer a replacement when I described my local O2 store's rudeness with this issue previously.. I doubt I'll go far with the phones reconditioned by O2 Repairs, but thanks for your sincere best wishes..
