More Forum Issues?

I have been away for the weekend and I did have my phone and tablet with me. Access to the forum was slow and full of issues. Back home now and using PC and these problems still remain ...

* Taking ages to accept my login details

* Moving from tab to tab painfully slow

* Timing out before you are able to post

* Worse than that....typing a reply to someone with loads of relevant links..and connection times out again!

(Not even sure this will post if honest)

* Posting pictures is problematic

*I just attempted to post a reply to a new topic. pressed 'post' and I was directed to login again

It would seem it's not a simple fix unfortunately. I would think they would have to reverse one of the tweaks they made?

I know when it became a problem @Anonymous made a complaint about some forum format (no idea what thread but I do remember). The format was changed and at the same time we started to get these subject header (and other) boxes all squashed. I know because I threatened to ask the team to change what he had requested.....it became a bit of a joke....

Don't ask me to find the thread...no time...limited wifi....:smileysad:

I'm currently reading this thread backwards / forwards so-to-speak ... not unusual with me, particularly with long threads I've not read currently

Now I shall follow this thread as its meant to be read

Just putting this here. I am posting this on my Spanish laptop which refused to allow me to sign into Chrome

whilst I was away. I installed it but it wouldn't accept log in...With having to change my email address to get emails from this forum I couldn't do it this time......So it was a good job I took my UK laptop with me.

Brought it back to the UK to get the other half to take a look. He did and problem now solved....So simple really 

(and couldn't have been sorted in Spain with my time constraints.....)

With all those clues...I will leave you to guess what the problems was...
