I have seen so many threads Go of track.
these O2 community threads are all about self help I urge all poster to keep the banter in the correct areas of the forum and only answer genuine questions in the correct place .
i see so many threads hijacked and the op never responds.
some of us have been helping for ages for no reward drop the kudos, solutions to questions is the true proof of help.
i am not having a pop at people but I have had enough of the kudos issue.

This seems to be happening way too frequently again. It's difficult to plough the genuine answers and some of the inane mutterings so I can understand the difficulties people asking questions have to try and make sense of it.
I am going to do my level best in future so I will no longer go off topic. I hope others will resolve to do the same. We have an off topic section for all the banter so we should try to keep it there.
...just my view on the current silly situation on certain threads, some of which have been moderated already.

Some great points there jonsie.
Healthy discussion between members is a wonderful thing, but as you say, it should never defer from from member's issue should they post about one. Going off on a tangent can be detrimental to the experience of someone in need of genuine help on occasion.
I love how chatty everyone is on the community. It's part of what makes this community great, but please try to keep it within the 'Discussions and Feedback and 'Off-topic' sections.
You may see a thread where a member is talking about something that makes you happy, inspired or angry. Start a discussion about in the either of the sections above. The more the merrier! Of course if a member wants to chat in their own help-thread, then by all means do so haha
Just try to help those on need as much as you can with relevant and concise info. Just remember, if it wouldn't make you feel better if you were in the same situation, it's probably not these best idea to post.
Flag any threads to me that you feel need addressing and I'll do my upmost to ensure we're all in the same boat.
Many thanks, Toby
