Re: Just one contact not receiving my texts

I've an iPhone 5c & my wife has an LG. Since the weekend she is not receiving any texts from me. I can get texts from her and we call call & WhatsApp no problem.

Both phones have been switched off & On, and both Contact details have been re-entered. My number is not blocked on her phone.

Any ideas?

You seem to have covered all bases here. Double check that your number is not blocked. Try putting your wife's sim in another phone and texting it. This will rude out any handset issues. You might need to ring customer services on 202 for more help.

Hi @Anonymous Are you sending your texts via the normal route and not using iMessage?. Also is your wife getting texts ok from everyone else?

Sounds like iMessage has accidentally been turned on

Double check that there isn't a separate text block list within the messaging app and make sure you haven't got her number saved as an iPhone number in your contacts.

I would suggest your number has almost certainly been accidentally blocked in the message settings on the LG phone.

Thanks for replies. Will have another look at her phone again tonight.

Texts are definitely not going as imessages.
