I was given a SIM card last year which, if I topped up £10 a month, I could make 50 minutes of calls to a French mobile number - and the receiver did not pay anything for these calls. Is this option still available (I haven't topped up in a while as no need to call France any more) and if it is, will it work to an Australian mobile? Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your response. I struggled to get through to a "real voice" on customer service - could only get automated messages which didn't answer my query. (Although I might have been trying the wrong number as I'm not a regular O2 customer - I just use this SIM for calling abroad). However decided to top up £10 and see what happened ... and yes, I now have 50 minutes of "free" calls to Oz per month, plus 10p text messages to the Oz mobile, so happy!

Best bet is to speak to customer service and they can check exactly which tariff you are on.
Check yourself also by signing into My O2 which will also show your tariff details.
There are various options open to you. Check here to see if there is any bolt on suitable for your Australian needs: http://www.o2.co.uk/tariffs/payandgo
