I have just received this from Intelligent Finance, I have no idea who they are nor do I have an account with them. Any thoughts?

Intelligent Finance is part of Halifax bank, but that email is obviously a phishing attempt, just bin it.

 

Nobody would send you an email worded like that without addressing you by name, and never to "verify" an account.

 

I've had these purporting to be from just about every bank you can think of.

You haven't lived, I get them mainly due to a leak by my old ISP, who let thousands of email addresses loose, ever since I get dozens to that account.

 

I'll shut it down one day!!!!!!!

I think the best scam one I saw was to my old works hr manager informing her, her order of some rather nsfw products were on their way and to log in to check delivery times:)
