I am absolutely raging. I put an insurance claim in for a Samsung galaxy note 9. I received the replacement on Monday. Yesterday my partner started to notice cracks forming on the back of the case when touching it. I rang customer service tonight and they said because I didn’t call within 72 hours I would have to put a new claim in. I have paid £90 excess. 1...I wasn’t told I had to call within 72 hours. 2 it shouldn’t happen with only having the phone less than a week. 3...it has not been dropped or damaged it’s the inside of the back case where it is cracking. They have escalated it to the complaints dept and I need to wait in their reply while they assess it blah blah making sure phone went through all checks went sent out. Of course They will come back and say it would have went through all the necessary checks. There is obviously a fault, if I could post a video on here I would. Anyone suggest what else I can do? Has anyone had this before?
