How can I do a bold font on an iPad

As the title says really, how can I do bold text in these forums using an iPad?

I have this same problem on my ipad mini.

I am a fan of the   so it's a little annoying not to be able to add them or quote text.  Sometimes I go on to my computer later and edit the post just so I can make some text bold, italic or add smileys.

Obviously on my iPhone it comes up in mobile mode at first but when I change it to full mode I have the same issue as I do with the iPad.

I look forward to it being fixed.

@toby what is realt strange on my ipad if i go to look at my photos rich text is there if you want to add a comment for the photo

Hi guys,

Just to update on this.

After speaking to Lithium, it appears that the mobile/tablet/desktop view is available on a device-by-device basis. Some are able to be programmed to cater to the desktop version of the community and some are not. This can also apply to certain generations of the same device.

I intend to submit an idea on the lithium dev site to see if we can get this sorted for those of you who cannot use the desktop view on your tablet.
