Hi there, I'm not at all technical minded but need some help....I'm in France and for the last 4 days my phone (Samsung Galaxy mini 3) won't connect to any network at all. It's always worked here and everyone else in the house has a signal. I've manually searched available networks and 3 are available but it won't connect to any of them. I can't call O2 as my phone doesn't work and the 'live chat' service is off line.......I'm here for a month and really need my phone. I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Try turning the phone off, clean the sim, reinsert and turn it back on.

Can you not use anyone else's phone that uses O2 to call Cs

Unfortunately they are all Orange. I can't find an email address to contact O2 anywhere on this website!

Hi

I've just looked and Live a Chat seems to be ok

O2 don't have an email address anymore.

Have you tried Twitter.

It could be your sim card that has failed but it's going to be a struggle if you can't contact O2 to get your account checked first.
It may be a spending cap limit that has been exceeded so a payment may be required.
Use a landline to contact CS if you can http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

If the other peoples phones are not locked to orange you could try your sim if it's the right size in their phone.

Process of elimination to rule out your phone.

PS, you can use the Orange phone to call the landline number but can you check if anyone else on O2 can get a signal where you are as different networks have different roaming agreements.

Thanks to you both....I just called O2 on my sisters phone as website says they are open until 8pm tonight, eventually after selecting 13 different options I got a recorded message saying they closed at 5pm....I'll try again tomorrow. Appreciate your help though especially the trying my SIM card in another phone, I'm off to try that. Thanks again

They should be open until 8.00pm UK time.
Just press 1 then zero if calling from another phone.
