Has O2 passed on my email address to spammers

Anonymous
Not applicable

I use an email address that is specific to O2. Recently I have started receiving lots of spam using that email address. It started with an outfit called Red Carnation Hotels but now has extended to all sorts of dubious outfits.

I haven't given O2 permission to pass on my email address. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm sorry to say you have given permission, whether or not you knew it. See number 5. You may think that what you're receiving is spam, but O2 may not.
