I have been a customer of o2 for well over ten years and contacted on live chat as my charger had given up the ghost so to speak, and I found one on the 02 site and had a discount code but it wasn't working for some reason.
I explained to the advisor the problem and that I was stuck as my phone had drained completely and living alone I needed to get it sorted as I rely on my phone due to health issues. The advisor took my details and I thought they may be trying to push me to upgrade or something, but the advisor asked if I would mind waiting while she checked if there was anything she could do re:- the discount.
After a little while the lady came back to me and surprised me completely saying as a loyal customer of 13 years she was sending me the item for free!๐. I was taken aback as at the best I thought she may be able to honour the discount but she really was so helpful and kind and really went the extra mile to give me such fantastic service. The item wasn't expensive or anything it was just the kindness and the way she said "we like to take care of our loyal customers". It really made me smile and I wanted to pass on this info to her manager if possible to commend her as she is a credit to o2.
I've been searching to try and find a means of doing so but can't find an email so am posting here in the hope someone may be able to help? (I didn't receive the text she said I would would when I asked,as my phone is dead now, so I can't feedback that way). There are always so many complaints in current times and often very little 'thank you's' so I would like to say a BIG thank you (it says not to post name so I've left that out).๐
A little kindness goes a long way and this lady was probably very busy but she took the time to do her best to help me, and I shall be continuing my loyal custom with o2 and will remember the great service she has given.
If anyone can show me how I can pass this feedback to management and the lady personally I'd appreciate it.
Thank you.

You know you can stick around the forums if you like, we're always happy when we get new members (especially as us girls are a minority here) and there's tonnes of useful info if you're ever in need of guidance. You can help others out too by passing on any experiences/knowledge of O2 when ppl are stuck.
We're a friendly bunch too!

Hey Charlie,
Thank you for the warm welcome, most appreciate it. Yes I think sometimes it's the little things that matter, and it was nice to feel valued as a loyal customer for many years.
I will definitely have a look around the forum as the people like yourself and Toby are lovely. I have health problems though so struggling with pain at the moment but the Internet is a lifeline and however did we manage before mobile phones lol!
Nice to chat with you,
Jayne xx

Hey all, sorry for the delay In my reply I'm having a bit of a rough week health-wise but wanted to come on for a minute and thank you all for the warm welcome ๐
As I'm new it may take me a little while to work out what I'm doing as I'm not very used to forums, so please excuse me if I make any mistakes. Thanks to @Toby for the kind help and also to @gindygoo, and @Cleoriff. Also thanks to @jonsie (last but not least lol). I hope that's how I tag you all, correct me if I'm wrong! Hope I haven't missed anyone.
I shall introduce myself properly shortly, thanks very much for the link. Just resting at the min with a bad headache. I wish I could say self inflicted but unfortunately not!
Hope you are all having a great weekend,
x
