Going to America

This isn't an O2 question, but rather just a phone question in general.

I have a BlackBerry Z10 and have been given the unlock code for my phone. I am off to vegas on the 22nd for a week and was considering getting a SIM card over there to try and prevent exorbitant fees but yet stay contactable with people I am with over there.

So...does anyone know where I could get a SIM card from over there? Are they readily available? Does anyone know how widespread WiFi is over there? (I'm assuming most WiFi in Vegas won't be free!)

I already plan on using WiFi as much as possible and the use of WhatsApp, BBM and hopefully Skype if its released for BB10 by then, but there will no doubt be occasions when WiFi isnt an option and I need to make a cellular call or send a text.

Thanks for the list of places, and I'm staying at the MGM but I'm sure they charged guests for Wifi last year at least!

That doesn't seem like a large list though considering the length of the strip! I guess I just expected places to charge for WiFi since they seem to charge for EVERYTHING in Vegas...and more if you're Male! haha!

Thanks for the info on the prepaid card as well, I just wasn't sure! slight_smile
