This afternoon I received a scam call from what looked like a Cardiff number - 029 2018 0191.
This number is part of Ofcom's "Drama Use Range" - these phone numbers are example numbers and will never be routed as a proper call. Similar to how Americans use "555" in their TV shows & films.
O2 should not allow fraudsters to set their Caller ID to numbers which are fake. If a party tries to connect to the network and presents a fake number like this, the call should not connect.
How about it O2? Show your customers some love and help stop these scammers 🙂
