Esim and Customer Service Nightmare

Customer service is utterly appalling! Spending over an hour on Chat to sort out an esim which I activated last night and had a messahe to say it would take up to 24 hours to switch from my old phone to my new one. Over 24 hours later and customer service very slow to respond, constantly taking me through security and codes not being received that they have said they sent multiple times. Get told to go to a store after explaining over and over, and the frustration has left me exhausted. O2 used to be great but now it's hard to even get a response without waiting up to 10 minutes for any acknowledgement let alone anything helpful. Not happy and still no closer to getting my new esim 😠😠😠😠

Your new SIM should be available via My O2

Make sure you old one is off when installing

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I've tried that and it's asking for the SIM number for the sim. The code starts with a 00 but there is literally nothing on the box or anywhere that has a code like that. I honestly wish I'd opted for a plastic sim now. Just frustrated.

Unless you need an Esim the plastic SIM is a better option for most people

My main line is plastic SIM. Esims reserved for secondary use
