Rave, while I know the background of your post, you need to add a bit of info for the mods, and for other users. Not all of us are regular every day users but want to know what is going on. So may have missed the discontent about spammers.

The mods know the extent of the problem.
O2 know the extent of the problem.
A minority of forum members know and are concerned about the problem.
The majority of forum members aren't aware of the problem and therefore probably have no interest in it.
O2 are responsible for the provision and management of this forum and need to act fairly quickly before a more serious situation develops. I am hoping and expecting the moderation contractor to be communicating this to O2.
In this viewtopic.php?f=1&t=62764 thread I identified what I saw as spammer usernames which was perhaps wrong.
If anyone that is interested goes to Members on the Home page and re-sorts by Joined Date Descending then they will see the extent of the problem.

I am certain that some of the recent registrations which show WWW links in the Profile are being deleted.
Strangely, other obvious ones haven't been :-

Perhaps deletion occurs once the first post is made ?
