Hi can my mum get a copy of a text conversation from her phone from o2? I think the messages were exchanged in 2018, and she needs them for a court case.

The only possible way would be a request from her solicitor but there's no guarantee it would be available.

They would not be a conversation. They only keep records of outgoing texts.
