Hi,
Assuming all the typical resolutions do not help.
If your not locked into a contract then perhaps think about changing mobile networks.
If you want to retain your number to use on another network then ask O2 for your PAC Code and give that to your alternative Network.
Cancelling your Contract Guide : http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Cancelling-Your-Contract-A-Guide/m-p/566774#U566...

Test the others out by using their PAYG sims for a week or so where you live, commute and work.
If you phone is locked to o2 then use this form to unlock https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset%20Unlocking%20Form
Free to contract and £15 to PAYG {T&C Apply.}
Hope all goes Ok for you.

This is a customer to customer forum. O2 do not monitor this site and will not reply to you here. Have you checked to see what the signal strength is in your area? If not, use this link and put in your postcode. http://status.o2.co.uk/ Your signal can also be affected by the building materials used in your apartment.
If you are a Pay Monthly customer, depending on which phone you have you can try the TuGo app to help indoors. http://www.o2.co.uk/tugo/want-it

If the signal is strong outdoors it is obviously due to build or possibly some sort of electrical interference. Does the signal improve from room to room? I think only TuGo will help as long as you are on pay monthly.
