I am in shock...o2 in their wisdom have deleted in it's entirety my main o2 account.
They claim it was my secondary account but it was the account where all the traffic went..The other account which I barely knew existed has hardly been used. They say they warned me....well, maybe they sent something to the dormant account which I cannot even access
as it is not listed at all when you try and sign in!
There isn't even a response message on the account they have deleted to say that this account no longer exists...so everyone thinks I'm ignoring them!
I was already disappointed in o2 as they gave a very good Broadband service until they decided to hand it over to another company not of my choice!
VERY UNHAPPY BUNNY xC

That's worrying.
I have 4 o2 email accounts, only one of which has received the notice of closing - one assigned as the sign-in for online phone billing but never used.
The main account for Broadband is also never used but there are 2 legacy genie addresses as secondary accounts. I was under the impression all accounts associated with the broadband were just going to be reduced to 20MB. I know that creation of new secondary accounts had been stopped but not that existing ones would be deleted.
Any clarification would be welcome.

Whatever clarification you can get I would start moving these elsewhere as nothing should survive beyond April 2014 anyway.

Already done for my own part but there is another secondary account used by my OH who lives at the address where the BB is (not my address) whom I will have to help move everything, but having to do it remotely for the most part and being mobile a lot of the time makes it more dificult.
