Hi guys,
Some of you may remember that we we had a discussion recently regarding rewards nominations (SEE HERE) where we talked about the idea of nominating a special member or post who has really shined in the community in a helpful, supportive or fun way.
We thought it might be a good idea to try this for the month of March
Have you seen a really helpful thread or post? Has a guide solved your issue? Which reviews have helped you make a decision on what devices to research?
Feel free to nominate a post/thread in this thread with a reason why, or simply send me a private message
I'm eager to hear the nominations!
Be nice....the cat is watching you.

Maybe it's just me but there is a formula used by the admin team unknown to anyone and rewards have been going for months with the set procedures. Sorry but I see no reason for changes. Let admin decide as they have always done rather than change the system on the ramblings of one person questioning the process who opted out voluntarily anyway

Indeed....
I think the secrecy factor about the amount is a bit like Sky Sports announcing F1 results along the lines of:
"These 10 drivers all won today...If you email in, we will tell you what position they achieved"
Veritas Numquam Perit

This nomination idea is just something that we though might be a nice thing to do guys, its on top of the normal process, not as a replacement.
Many members write great post/guides/reviews, but are not regulars, so this is a nice way for them to be potentially nominated. This is the primary motive
We decided to omit reward amounts, as that was a point made in the open discussion we had regarding the rewards and was made by multiple members. I'm happy to display rewards in an number of ways and was quite honestly fine with its original post structure. Everyone has a different opinion. I cannot please you all
If the general consensus right now is to show amounts, we'll show amounts.

I only remember one member so we are going senile together. Typical when people try to fix what ain't broke but heyho, I'm happy to go with the majority....

Personally i cannot see any reason to hide amounts.
Those who earn't them deserve to be congratulated etc
