I have the 'Classic pay-as-you-go'. In the last week, incoming texts have not arrived, and incoming calls have gone directly to the message service (even though my phone is on and the 'Do not disturb' is off). The only way I've found to solve it, is by making a chargeable call. After that, the texts I'm waiting for come through instantly, and I can receive calls. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I've just read that O2 is closing down its 'pay-as-you-go data only mobile SIM' services on 31st January 2025. I'm assuming that this is different from the 'Classic pay-as-you-go' service, as there's no mention of it ending on the Classic 'Help and support' page. I hope that's correct! Does anyone know?

Data only sims are different and do not have any resemblance to O2 PAYG Classic
You do need to make a chargeable call and the terms state every 6 months
However we advise every 3 months as O2 are looking to get rid of the old legacy tariffs

I guess this is a glitch with my service then. Thank you for your help and advice, it's reassuring to know the O2 PAYG Classic is not ending!
