Hi.
Dose anyone know if it is possible to have a block put on my phone from making calls once my monthly allowance has been reached. So as to not run up a huge bill.....

No, O2 consider people responsible enough to keep a check on their own usage.

You can keep track of your allowance by texting 21202 for free. This is best done first thing in the morning as it can be up to 12 hours behind,or bear in mind at other times that calls you've made that day may not be accounted for. When you know you have run out try simply not ringing anyone. If you regularly run out of minutes and get charges you are on the wrong tariff, cs will up it for you and you can get roughly an extra 300 mins for each additional fiver on your tariff. 300 mins would cost you £60 as call charges so it is worth it if you need them.

I do, but I wouldn't buy them a phone contract. Payg will do until they can pay their own way. After all, that's what it's for slight_smile
Giving a teenager a contract phone they have no responsibility for is asking for trouble.
