Re: 3G coverage. One of the main reasons I purchased my IPhone was to use it for streaming to my IPad. I am now working near Galston in Ayrshire. On checking O2 coverage, it is non existent as it is through most of the area. EE have excellent coverage and the other providers have limited coverage. Unfortunately I am only half way through my contract and won't be able to update until November. I hope O2 put some of the 2.7% tariff rise into improving their 3G coverage, never mind 4G . Otherwise they'll be short of a customer in November.

You're right there is no 3G in that area, but O2 are hoping to cover 98% of the population by 2015.

3G?? Any kind of service would be nice!! I live in North Wales and work just south of Chester and at both locations I have not had a permanent signal of any kind for over a week, and I have Never had 3G and very very rarely get Edge, even though my commute is 80 miles each way, yesterday o2 had the nerve to tell me that my contract price (The same contract I have held for over 10 years) was increasing, surely it should be reducing to match their service to me?
