02 phone coverage in Devon

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have just come back from a holiday in Woolacombe, Devon and 02 mobile phone coverage was dreadful, only short windows of use.  2 years ago it was the same in Cornwall and the only one of my family not on 02 is my son in law who is Vodafone and he had constant use of his phone which we all used especially me when my husband was admitted to hospital.  Very frustrating.  Now back home and coverage fine.  Do 02 just need more towers in the West Country???

Noot good yet,  but there's still hoping on the mast that needs to be updated for both good 2G, 3G and 4G 👍  O2 need to meet their coverage obligation by end of this year.  May be last on the list to upgraded tho. 😔

Good old website to always check is Signal checker too.  Gives a great idea on all networks very quickly for indoor and outdoor coverage.
