Had a missed call from 01733 964659, after research I found these are scammers, apparently they don’t speak good English and are trying to get 02 customers to change their contract, the data they have is said to be old and stolen, however, they already know exactly who you are when you answer as they call you by name. If they are questioned they simply hang up on you. It’s also said that they use VoLT which makes it difficult to pin point their location………(apparently)………..anyway, if you get a call from them, don’t answer it or copy and paste the number into your phone and block it. Or do what I do, answer the phone and use a celebrity accent, anything they ask you, simply repeat it back to them - they soon give up.

@DNM It's a well known scam. They use hundreds of thousands of numbers.
Block the number and report it free to 7726.
Don’t open any links or enter any information.

To my cost I know the difference between being scammed ... & ... being hacked ... ... ... the hackers are very very clever ..... & ..... don't like being asked any questions ....... yes, they don't speak ... or ... write very good English. My way is to not enter into any communication with them ... & ... block their number ... & ... block them if they use an email to get to you = 'Get Shut of Them' ....... ....... ....... Either way give them no more information about you than they already have. Just my opinion.

I don't think that they use Volt @DNM :-
I think that you probably mean a VPN or Virtual Private Network :-
