Oh one more thing. You could have your SIM card replaced at any O2 store just to rule out the SIM card at fault.

Are you in the Warrington/Northwich/Macclesfied area at all?
Other noise issues are been reported around the SK11 postcode area.

Yes there are noise probs here in ST13 area too, like clinking bottles or pinging elastic bands, I've seen over 60 comments on FB, and O2 keep saying it's not them, do a reset, check the mast, bla bla bla, sort it out before you lose customers!!

O2 are not going to respond to that, if you have a problem you should report it to O2.
