iphone has just stopped working

Hi Does anybody know why my iphone would just stop working! i can't even turn it off. I can't receive anything, open any apps or make calls. nothing

It is on and fully charged. it was working fine yesterday 

I can't find a number to ring for advice either

Try holding the power and home button down until the Apple logo appears

If it's a later model iphone

• Press and quickly release the Volume up button then press and quickly release the Volume down button.
• To complete, press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
