My phone has just stopped receiving SMS messages, but does receive iphone messages.  Have tried changing carrier to vodaphone and turning the phone on and off on numerous occasions.  Thank you

EDIT: I have tried this http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple-iOS-Devices-iPhone-iPad/IPhone-4S-won-t-receive-text-messages/td-... but this did not work

Have you got a network signal?
Can you make and receive calls?

If you have an O2 sim in the phone switching the carrier to Vodafone isn't going to make any difference whatsoever.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Turn the phone on & off, take the sim out & clean it.

Do a full restore via iTunes on your PC

It's very probably an issue with imessage. Try switching it off and then reset the network settings. Switch imessage  back on and try sending yourself an sms.

Hi @Anonymous

Can you make and receive calls? Have you got a network signal?

Is this a recent problem?....

Have a look at this link which shows you how to remove the sim card...(it involves the use of a small bent paper clip wink

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201337

Once you remove the sim.. clean it gently and re-insert....

Any o2 shop will check your sim for you.

|Hi. Can call out and  receive calls.

I think voicemails I have left recently may not have been received.
