I am regularly commuting to Southern Ireland (from the UK for work). I had the good idea of setting up my old iPhone with an Irish SIM to save on call charges etc while I'm there.
Problem: An O2 Ierland SIM doesnt seem to work. My phone was originally from Tesco but it has always worked with my O2 (UK) SIM so I assummed it was unlocked, someone has said Tesco and O2 use the same network....does anyone know if this is true? Also how can i tell if my phone is locked to Tesco/O2? and how can I get it unlocked so that I can use it in Ireland.
Many thanks for any info/suggestions
