iPhone - Contract Renewal

Anonymous
Not applicable

Rather disgruntled with O2 for quite a while now.  Not only was I mis-sold a phone contract but I am beginning to think that O2/Apple have a scam in operation.  Maybe it is a coincidence or is it just bad luck but whenever my O2 contract is up for renewal my iphone seems to die just before or just after the contract renewal date.  Now forgive me for being a cynic but I do not believe in coincidences.  I work in forensics and generally work on facts.  If there is any ex-employee of O2/Apple who can offer me any advice on this subject I will be happy to reward that person if it is proven that indeed myself like many others are being fiddled by one of these two conglomerates.

It's a coincidence, sorry but if this was a scam, a LOT more people would be reporting it.
I've had my iPhone 4s loooooooong after renewal, as have many others.
Apple have no need for such scams, if they had trouble selling, yeah there would be motive for such an idea, but it's hardly like apple need to invent timed destructions into there stuff.
It's coincidence.

You are just very unlucky I'm afraid. There are no scams either by O2 or Apple that could kill your phone around contract dates.

Nice conspiracy theory but no foundation to it at all I'm afraid.
There are 2 4S and a 5S in my household all still going strong, unfortunately 😞
