iPhone 6 pre order question?

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hey guys,

I got around to finally pre ordering the iPhone 6 today when I paid off my existing phone contract.

After the payment was accepted I looked at the order details and it says at the bottom.

Delivery option: Not Applicable

Can someone please explain what this means? Cheers.

@Toby  PM sent.

I want to say openly however that multiple postings on the same topic usually result in threads being merged.

I am sad to see that this has not happened with the iPhone release.

Come the end of next week, when people don't get their order at the time they were expecting it, you won't be able to keep up with the number of threads.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Merging of multi threads has never happened at iphone launch in past years and I doubt it will this year.

Such is the popularity of iphones any delivery date is subject to stock and many people will be disappointed as stock will not meet demand. Not just for O2 but all the networks.

Which is my point now. I can NOT keep up with all the threads as they currently stand...

However. we were told to start a new thread to discuss this... I wonder how long that would go unchecked wink

Whilst i am pleased to see the excitement around a new phone (or in this case phones) release, i cannot help but sympathise with @Cleoriff regarding the fairness of public postings.

Over the last few days this forum has been overrun with threads and posts of varying nature regarding iPhone. With other phones these are generally merged but not with iPhone.

It is no secret my knowledge of iPhone is limited therefore i rarely comment on or attempt to provide assistance as i would probably get it wrong. So the solution for me was top step away from the Community for a few days. Howdy consistency in a public forum is key and that has been sadly lacking this last few days.

I have no doubt this post will be removed and i will receive a PM advising me so but these are my thoughts so i will say them.

@Toby maybe a sub section of the forum purely for pre order questions and the following inevitable dispatch questions may help with all manufacturers flagship releases and offers.

@Anonymous   I am sure many of us wholeheartedly support you. I see absolutely no reason why a legitimate point of view, well expressed, in moderate terms should be removed, especially when it comes from such a valuable and valued source.
