A bit strange me starting a thread about an Apple product but I am posting on behalf of a friend in Spain
She has just emailed me. Her daughter has bought an iPhone 6 today and was on YouTube..clicked on something which has apparently downloaded a pornographic channel to the phone.
The problem is all that is showing now is a page with all the daughters details stating 'Interpol; are now monitoring her and a message appears asking her to allow them to go into her contacts'
She now can't get into anything at all, Has she downloaded a virus?
What on earth can she do?

Update to this saga. The phone was taken to the Apple store near Marbella (not Malaga)
My friends daughter saw an Apple Technico, explained the problem (apparently he seemed impressed with her level of knowledge...::smileywink:)
He told her to come back in an hour.....iPhone now sorted, her Apple ID now restored to her....and one happy bunny.
I have been asked to pass on 'Thanks from the dozy Liverpool lass'
Free drinks at her bar in Spain are on offer...but as none of you lot will be going....I will raise a free glass or 10 to you all when I go again on the 22nd August

Oh I forgot to say ...I asked her what the Apple Technico had said......She said "Oh he gibbered on a lot... I recognised the word 'hackeado' but I wasn't that interested as I just wanted my phone back"
*Hackeado means hacked*
