iPhone 6- PreOrder

Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

Hi all, got an email from o2 yesterday saying "Your order is being processed and will be despatched shortly." - does that mean its going to be shipped today or tomorrow for Friday or is that a generic email?

CS are no use and just tell me the phone is out of stock! The email has a track order link, which takes me to my o2 page, which has an old disconetced contract and nothing else.....

Assume I'm in the same boat as everyone else.....

Have just used the live chat on CPW, and the helpful girl there checked my order number and said it is in the picking phase, waiting to be picked up. When I asked for clarification on what that actually means she said basically it'll be sent out tomorrow for delivery Friday. Phew!

To be honest live chat are ill informed at best regarding releases. When the z2 was released, loads (Inc me) were asking live chat when they would arrive and I don't think anyone got a correct answer.
It was either
Shipped on release day
Shipped day before but 2-3 days delivery
Out of stock so awaiting next shipment
What is z2
Shipped Monday before release.
As it turned out, everyones got delivered on release day.
