iMessage 4s sending issues

hi all! does anyone else have issues with iMessage just not sending on their 4s?! it takes forever to send. I've timed 5 minutes just for a regular text. I have tried my wifi and 3G but it makes no difference! any suggestions?

thanks!

Ive not noticed with imessages on iphone 4s or iphone 5 and not aware of any issues today.

Ive had a couple of issues on Saturday and Sunday, but this was only an extra 15-20 seconds per message.

Do you have any issues sending normaly sms, or is it just imessages?

Are you also adding anything to the imessage like pics etc?

no pics or anything just a simple sentence. it says SMS sent after ages and it fails to send iMessage. but I don't think they have been received etc! Starting with an SMS being sent sends ok, it's just when using iMessage.

also do you know anything about recovering signal delays on the 4S when coming out of no service?! haha

imessage is naff. 1/2 the time they dont send so send as sms in the end, pointless gimmick i think

way to compare to naff blackberry bbm! apart from sending issues every now and then it's been handy for me though slight_smile

I never have any problems with IMessage 99% of time the send instantly. Try resetting network settings and switch iMessage off then back on.

imessage can sometimes deactivate itself without you doing anything, happened to me a couple times
