confused about buying a phone!

hello.

so, im currently paying a sim only contract of 02 unlimited. my iphone 6 has broke and i want to purchase the iphone 11 with unlimited data. my question is, if i purchase the phone and the tarriff, will i also be pauing for my current tarrif along side or will the new one just replace my current contract?

my partner has just told me a different story, just to double triple mega check im not going mad... my sim only contract has not come to and end yet but i will still be able to switch it over to the new one with the phone?

Yes you can. You should have upgraded which would have made things easier but you'll need to hope they understand the mistake and waive the charges for ending your simo early.
