Using iDevices on 4G in the US

Anonymous
Not applicable
Morning

I'm aware that I will be unable to use my iPhone 5 on 4G when I go to the US, something to do with UK issued iPhones not being set up to use US 4G networks. Does the same thing apply to my UK issued iPad? Will I be unable to use that on US 4G??

Thanks

As O2 haven't even begun to use 4G, even if your device were capable, you would probably have to use a US network 4G sim.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
