I think Apple need to get a grip. They admitted slowing down older iPhones and are now denying it was to encourage people to buy new devices.
They must think we 'came up the river on our bikes' Taking people for fools. Not even sure how a new battery (which you have to pay for) will resolve this issue at all? Surely to speed them up you would need updates?..

The last paragraph of the statement reads: "At Apple, our customers’ trust means everything to us. We will never stop working to earn and maintain it. We are able to do the work we love only because of your faith and support — and we will never forget that or take it for granted."
Well, they did take it for granted, and only fessed up when they got their hand caught in the cookie jar. Now they try to make amends by offering customers battery upgrades, and charging them for the privilege! Unbelievable.

In my defence, I attached a screenshot showing what I had typed. Did you see a "Subject" line there anywhere?
No.
But you saw a prompt to load an image, in Mobile Version.
Success, I think.
And I have changed the subject back again, so
