Been looking on the internet on how to unlock the iPhone 5... Mostly curiosity.
And came across a few sites where they do a IMEI unlock.... I was wondering how they do it? Surely it must be illegal?
But to my main point (Last sentence), is this true?

If you had bothered to read through this and all the other "why can't I unlock my iP5" threads you will see that I do agree that O2 should be allowing customers to unlock their phones, however, the inability to do so does not give anyone the right to pollute the forum with foul language, nor will it change O2's policy to immediately allow unlocking. A sensible, factual and well constructed letter to O2 Complaints is the only way to get the issue escalated to a higher level within the business......

Immediately criticising him for his language without commenting on his legitimate, if unfortunately phrased complaint, smacks of "attack is the best form of defence".

Which option would make you listen more....?

No doubt they will not listen to a tirade but will they, in fact, listen to a well reason complaint?

Pot - Kettle.
If you had read the objectionable poster's post in full, you would have seen he was talking about an iPhone 4 not a 5. BTW I have written to O2 on this but have not yet (3 weeks) had the courtesy of reply, so I suspect it may have been filed in the low level cylindrical filing system.

The original OP of this thread must be wondering why and how this thread has been hijacked by pointless unproductive discussion !
I'd be suprised if they ever come back on this forum for help and advice again !
This thread was highlighted as resolved sometime ago by the 1st reply by Liquid !
Im bemused why somebodies chosen name would upset you and if you took the time to look back on his threads and replies you will find that he has given lots of support to new and existing members alike.
Time to move on guys...... please

I agree with bandofbrothers. This really isn't great, so I've closed the thread.
The community is a friendly and helpful place and these kinds of threads certainly don't reflect that. It could have been easily avoided, so I'd like the participants to reflect on how this discussion developed. There really is no place for sarcasms, insinuations or namecalling on this forum, so please just skip a thread if you feel the urge to post in such a manner.
I'll keep a close eye on how things develop.
Best regards,
Leonard
