Unlock old iPhone 3GS

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello, any help much appreciated.

I have a very old iPhone 3GS which still seems to be locked to my provider, which I think at the time was still O2. I've just started a new job and have been given a new SIM to put into an old phone and use for business. What is the official procedure for getting my phone unlocked?

thanks

Have you tried the sim in the new phone to check it is actually locked?

You will need a free "simply PAYG sim" from here https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards/pay-as-you-go?cm_mmc=googleuk-_-PPC_Direct_Free_Sim-_-Brand-Core...
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
