Hi,
Don't know how to clearly describe this but basically (I've tested with other phones) Whenever I'm sending a text and if there was an incoming text (just sent) I wouldn't be able to receive the text(s) and it would take a few or even several minutes after to receive them. Is this normal because it's actually quite irritating? Or am I just treating texts too much of an IM?
I'm using an iPhone 5 and I don't know whether this is a network problem or the handset/settings as there are no problems receiving texts on my brother's Galaxy S3. He receives and sends texts simultaneously without a problem whereas mines all just flood in all at once.
Thanks!

Text messages are not an instant message service and can be delayed .
Many threads on here about iphones getting batches through in one go etc
