Transfering photos

Hi all, my dad wants to know is it possible to transfer his photo's from his camera to his ipad? cos he eneded up sending the photo's via e-mail to himself

He'll need to copy them to his pc then set iTunes to sync his photos from PC into iTunes.
They will then be accessible on the iPad.

I did mention Itunes to him cos that's what I thought you'd have to do but i will tell him and let you know if oit works

iTunes will either sync all photos on his PC or you can select specific folders, so if he saves all his pics in a folder called "camera" for example he can choose only that folder to sync.

camera is from memory a either a samsung or panasonic as for ipad think it's the one with retana display not the latest model

Also if the camera has built in wifi or wifi enabled sd card there should be an app for it .

I had a sandisk wifi in old nikon d40 and used its app now on a d5300 it has wifi and a companion app to download straight to ipad / iphone .

@blissgirl No problem I still need one as the Nikon app only downloads photos over wifi so for videos on the d5300 need the lead it works as described and no need for a PC so can be handy on holiday.
