An Apple store would tell you instore via a genius bar appointment. http://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/
Or they'd offer an out of warranty refurb replacement
http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=servicefaq&geo=United_Kingdom&product=iphone
16gb is £469
32gb is £549
64gb is £629
Or you could ask a repair shop.
Or check any household insurance or bank account mobile phone cover which would possibly incur an excess fee and check t&c

The latest prices I can see on apple for an out of warranty replacement is £216.44
A young relative of mine took hers to the genius bar in Birmingham (2 weeks ago) She still had a week left on her warranty so paid nothing. She was told had she been out of warranty it woould have cost her £90
I was amazed at this because the cheapest price I knew was £119 as shown in the link from jonsie.
So it does appear that prices vary even within the Apple stores.....
