If not, you have to assume a sim or phone fault.
Call into any o2 shop and they will do a sim swap for you for free to see if that's the problem otherwise it's the phone we need to consider as faulty or barred.
Do you know the full history of the phone?

No one around me is having any issues with it.
I have had the phone from new from O2 and i've never had any issues with it apart from now.
So i think best to pop into an O2 store then to have it checked? Thanks

Have you tried your sim in another phone? That will give you a definite indication whether it's the sim or not.
