Check the courier / royal mail tracking number you used to send the phone back, as this will tell you if they have received it back at o2.

Thanks for you response but It was delivered to them last week. Confirmed in Royal Mail app. I Supplied o2 with tracking number also.

All you can do is chase o2, I am having the same with an EE return where they have it, and its not been cancelled on the account...
So not just o2 play these games...

Probably a big backlog as lots of people upgrades or took out the new phones. Give them a call or chat online as mentioned above.
