Replacement iphone 5

Anonymous
Not applicable

I received my iphone 5 in black yesterday as part of my o2 upgrade. However on closer inspection i noticed a small scratch on the bottom corner of the chamfer. I contacted o2 and they were happy to replace the handset due to still being in the cooling down period. I am still a little unsure of what i need to do when the agent brings the new handset. I know i will receive from them a new handset and I need to give him the scratched one, but i am unsure what i put the iphone in and do i include cables/charger etc?

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thank you

If you're insured please make sure your imei numbers are the same.

Dial *#06# to find out what yours is.

Insurance will keep a record of your imei and if you claim when it doesn't match because of the replacement they won't pay out.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink

Hi and a warm welcome to the Community Forum ,

A picture of the scratch would have been interesting.

A word of caution : The coating on the iphone 5 antenna band is susceptible to wear and tear.

If this is going to be an issue put it in a case or bumper.
