Re text messages

Hi. I wonder if anybody can sort this for me I have I phone 5 my sister has a galaxy sometimes when I text her the messages gets to her but it comes up on her phone no name and the number comes up with a extra digit example my number is 0xx00 but it comes up with a extre digital which is the same as my e mail, is there a setting wrong on my phone. So she can not reply to that text because of the extra digit. Any help would be appreciated.

I use the iPhone 5 and dont have that issue.

Does the message bubble come up as green or blue

Try deleting the contact and try again.

Hi. The bubble comes up green. I have also have deleted the contact, turned phone off still the same, my sister has also done the same as me.

Green means normal text.

Try a reset.

Press the top button and home button together until the Apple logo appears and then let go.

And or try

Settings - General - Reset - reset all settings.

Phone o2 to make sure your account is ok. 

The numbers are in the 'contact us ' tab at the bottom of the forum page.
