O2 has marked my phone as Stolen

I've just moved into the UK and was given three SIM cards on my way here (one by Lebara and two by giffgaff) after putting all 3 in my phone I noticed none of them were working, just giving me a No Service error and after digging into the phone's settings - I see a "Phone not allowed." message.

After contacting my carrier and several other carriers in the UK, I was informed that O2 has marked my phone as Stolen (6 months after me owning it.) The phone was purchased brand new from a reputable retailer from my home country and was sealed and passed an Apple serial number check. The only solution I've received from O2 was to buy a new phone which is just ridiculous.

Does anyone know who I can contact to get my phone unblacklisted?

O2 should investigate why it was blacklisted and if done in error, will be removed.

There is also the possibility that it was stolen in the UK and shipped abroad, so it could be a genuine issue.

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
